Mapleshade mac from Pierre...

I had a conversation with famed tweaker Pierre from Mapleshade Records the other day and he was telling me about his implementation of his Mac computer in his rig. For one, he has removed all of the plastic outer covering of the machine and attached his screw-in brass pointed footers to the chassis. He has damped certain parts and strategically placed various brass weights. He suggested using upgraded power cords, although if I remember correctly he himself was using a battery powered laptop. Naturally the thing is mounted atop one of his maple platforms. I don't know if he posts here, but it would be great if he would divulge some more of the details and make necessary clarifications.

I recently took four of his isoblocks (cubes of cork and rubber plys) and mounted my imac G4 on them with a noticeable improvement in sound clarity. I would have plugged in my VH Audio Flavor 4, but the mac uses a seemingly proprietary receptacle... Chris, are you listening?
