What I do is rip a few each morning while sitting at the computer reading the paper and checking emails. It took me about three months to rip about 2000 CD's. Remember to back up frequently. I've had to re-rip three times. Once do to a drive failure, and then I re-ripped with copy protection turned on which made me re-rip again with CP turned off.
