Yes the OCZ is the same one I am using in my superMini. I am not sure if they buy the SLC parts or boards from Samsung but I get the same preformance out of the mini that I have out of the Samsung 64GB unit in my MacBook.
I just read this somewhere so I will try to work this out.
SLC uses a single transistor to store the data.
MLC uses four transistors to store 2 bits of information and therefore takes longer to write to.
I do have a Transcend MLC 64GB that I might install and see the difference but I am pretty busy.
