I do remember someone doing some research and coming to the conclusion that the Rpi sounded best with a switching ps.Such is contrary to my experience with either the SB Touch or RPi. Or any audio component for that matter.
As for Teradak, this is the one I used for a while. A bit more than $44 though. :)
edit: As a point of reference, I have two lipstick sized batteries with 1A capability. You might try spending ten bucks on one of those.
