I did not do any "head biting."I merely questioned the REASON why anyone would want to even have an expensive, overkill, type of Switching Technology Device MISapplied to Audio.
Any further emotional responses, adjectvies, and activity "name calling" added to the mix, is irrelevant to my original point and a waste of time.
After all is this not "High EFFICIENCY" Speaker asylum? Tubes are only highly efficient as space heaters, as are loudspeakers.
At least, with Horns we can get close to 20-50% and we don't need GaN transistors to do it. MOSFET work fine and are CHEAP to produce on silicon.
Even if you want 40 db of Headroom with Class D, One Kilowatt Amlifiers, Low Rds On MOSFET device are cheap and plenty, especially when they are fabbed on the same line as MicroProcessors.
