I've got the original UREI 813s, which used a minor variant of the 604 in a 12 cuft box. Its pretty plain looking and intended to be soffit mounted so that really didn't make a difference. It does, however, sing - period. I've got a friend with Model 19s, which also sing, but I really like the efficiency and robust output these UREIs produce. Again, though, its as much a matter of the volume of the box. Now, if I could just get a nice veneer on them.....The only other *real* alternative I've wanted to try is the Stonehenge III cabinet. The original configuration from Altec delivered the 604 at the right listening height for the 604 in a consumer-oriented enclosure. Iconic Mfg also reproduced these cabinets for the GPA driver, I believe, but I've lost track of what's been happening with them of late.
Cheers,
David
