I have one, it works well, but I bought it years ago and don't know if they still sell it. A used one on the bay may be your answer, but just make sure it's in top shape (bristle fibers still there and soft).
It may be time to open the hood anyway in the least to take a look at everything. I have cleaned lenses and insides before with compressed air cans and damp w/lens cleaner on J&J Qtips but you have to be VERY careful.
