It sounds like something he will say.Anyway, i agree with most of what "A.D." says apart from the bit about 256fs - i think jitter issues will be a major headache at those sort of speeds.
Also re the comment on Class D vs digital amps - Bruno pretty much makes the same point - "digital amplification" is a marketing solution to a non-existent technical problem. But Bruno is a fan of analog class D - he says that's the future. [Of course, that happens to be his current project at Philips]
