I purchased this disc from a few things I read on-line, as well as the fact that it was an SACD I saw on CDbaby.com. I love it. And for a PCM 44/24 recording, it sure belies it's origins on SACD.Excellent sound, great music (even if the lyrical content are on the "depressing side").. and the sound effects on the final track... well.. impressive. The train whistle seemed to come from all around, you would swear this was a surround recording. I actually thought that the train whistle I sometimes hear in the distance, from the commuter train in my area, was being signaled while I was listening to the album.
Thanks for taking your time to post here and enlighten us to this album worthy of purchase for those who love rock music.
