Yeah, I can see that. I use the Shures off a desktop amp and can see where other buds would be better with a portable perhaps. Grado never entered my mind. There headphones always seem to get mediocre reviews so it wasn't on the radar. Glad you dig em. I have a few other buds and the for me its the bass. The Shures can hang basswise which I find important. Thanks for mentioning the Grados though. I have some gift cards that might make it easy to get a pair. But man I have like 10 pairs of earbuds alone, so its like whats the point.
