Oh no! Not the dreaded Stereofool lingo! Yes, they are extremely revealing, but if there's anything etched going on, it's likely to be elsewhere. What have you got in there for interstage and parafeed caps? They wield quite a bit of influence. With a horn-loaded compression driver tweeter, I see PIO in your future. . .
I've gathered the same impression about 2A3's vs 300B's, but it's an "all else being equal" kinda comparison, and you know how likely that is! The PJ design he referred me back to in Valve actually allows either to be run, so it'll be interesting to try both in them, or even to run the TJ's as BOTH 2A3s and 300B's, as Twysted alluded to in a post.
Yes, I think another listening session is in order! (But then again, when isn't it? ;-)
