Audio Note builds their gear with their stuff in mind - ie; their amp/cd player/turntable/wires/ is designed for their speakers and on their speakers - and vice versa.UHF loved their entry two box cd player but said it wa s smidge hard now and again - but in an all AN system it sure isn't.
Try and hear an all Audio note system - I did and I'm hooked best set-up I've ever heard. So now i'm attempting to build one. I have the speakers and am working backwards. Synergy is a key especially their DAC's which have very high outputs making them totally inapropriate with many amplifiers especially SS amplifiers.
