I was upgrading from a SP9 MKII and had a AN M2 for a while. It didn't match well with my ARC amp. Too bright and edgy. Although many people love it. And at a friend's home with another amp it sounded great. I now am a believer in system synergy after that. Be sure you demo it in your system - that's where it has to play well with other components.
