RE: Please.. More Class D Recomendations!

I have been gaining insight into class D, these are my personal impressions. I have been in audio for over 30 years and designed loudspeakers professionally for 15 years, I have set up dozens of rooms built dozens of loudspeakers, not a newbie off the street

I went to "The Show" a couple of weeks ago in LA. I was able to hear a Jeff Rowland (Ice), AGD (GaN) and the Mola Mola (Nilai)

I heard 3 AGD in 2 rooms including a demo by the designer / owner. The offshoot room was just ok and the actual AGD room may have been the worst sounding at the show, intensely hard speakers no soundstage, no inner detail, I listened to the lowest priced amp and the most expensive, little difference. It was underwhelming at best, I am very curious of why these amps are getting so many great reviews .

The Jeff Rowland sounded nice nothing super special.

The mola mola room needed better speakers but the quality of the amp was 3 dimensional and musical, it drew you in, it had ease and detail.

Again, just one guys experience. I believe that the Mola Mola is a Nilai incognito, the board topology is different but the parts are basically the same, I believe they added a quality input board. I could be wrong but it just makes sense and if people don't know, Hypex owns Mola Mola.

With the info I have gathered from shows reviews and message boards , im going with the Hypex Nilai , will probably get the Apollon monoblocks.
