Abe. Yes, both great amps but a difficulty I have in direct comparison in that I don't have a separate preamp. The M33 acts as preamp to the AS but the advantage of balanced us lost. The M33 is much more powerful so each switch of amp require a big volume reset.

In practice I generally use (and am very happy with) the NAD because the AS amps have no trigger so each needs to be turned on and off manually. The AS amps remain unused most of the time but I occasional listen with them in an attempt to justify their cost and onconvenience!
