Let me say thanks to you! I did this last night after reading your pist with my Goldenote Demidoff intrigrated amp. It had a crackling noise when turning the volume up or down before. so last night i did as you suggest. Unbelievable! Iys all gone! What us more is that the sound has opened up a lot more than before. Seriously, i don't know why. May be it cleaned out the static in the volume knob or what but oh boy! now the amp not only opened up but the detail is very impredsive too. The treble is a lot more extended. All in all everything is improved. Thanks again.
