I have recently dove into the tube world. I am having a blast! I started with the rogue audio tempest II. The best way to explian my results would be, the amp slow danced with my martin logan vantages. I was looking for a little more. So I went to ces this year and heard the prima luna dialogue 2 pushing the sonus faber amatis. I was very impressed. Given the watt differance I was a little confused. The rogue tempest II is 90 watts per ch and the dialogue II at 38 watts per ch. But the sensitivity on the amaties and the vantages are the same at 92db. So I went ahead and purchased the prima luna based on the wonderful experience I had at ces. The results are amazing. Remember how I said the rogue slow danced with my martin logans, well the prima luna grabs the bull by the horns and dirty dances with my speakers. I am so happy with the results! The sound is warm and exciting. The looks dont hurt either. Please do yourself a favor and take a look at the prima luna dialoue II. Do not let the price full you. The rogue retails for more than the prima luna. Well, alot of amps retail for more than the prima luna, but will not compaire to the sound of the dialogue II. This amp is awesome. At work, all I can think about is putting on some music when I get home. My cd source is the cambridge 640c, record player pro-ject rpm6, phono stage is the tube box se.
