Overall, it's just OK in my books.
I found the bass to be a loose (on floor standing 3-ways), and I found it did not have the ability to deal with complex arrangements (if you listen to classical) very well at all. The mid-range on voice only (male or female) was very impressive, and the sound stage it portrayed was also respectable.
The phono stage was worse than an old rega box I have lying around that I paid $600 4yrs ago. It completely collapsed the sound stage. I liked my Levinson solid state integrated so much better, despite not having the sweet mid-range and air of the tubes.
Just my 2 cents. I spent 4 days with it and turned it off after I heard a Rachmaninof piano concerto go to hell in a handbasket with the 2275. If you don't need tons of power consider the Pathos TT instead - you'll be happier, I think.
Again, my opinion, based on my speakers and room. It's an easy piece to lug home. The dealer tells me a MA220 and the 275 tube amp combo do better for about the same price.
Cheers
