Joe Schmo, I really appreciate your detailed response.
I did read your post previously and pmd you, but glad you replied here.

Yes, bypassing fuse is risky. Ive had 2nd thoughts on that.
My goal is not to change Maggie "house" sound. Id say Im hopeing for better clairity. "Remove the veil" some say.
Seems like replaceing wire and caps with higher quality stock values is the safest path to take.
My modified stands have thick wooden bases about 20"x20". Perfect place for external xo.

I think alot of the variable mod results have to do with the differance in systems. Mine is very revealing, so a small change could be noticeable.
