Oh yeah, I can guarantee that using a 1.2mH inductor and a 17uF capacitor would probably be too much compensation. The difference is considerable....about 10db higher drive to the bass panel at 1000Hz.Removing the capacitor and leaving the coil intact would be a much better experiment I think. The curve is essentially the same as stock until about 1000Hz where the roll-off effect of the capacitor really comes into play.
