Hold on there Baba Boy! Passive *can* be done

I have definitely passively biamped my MGIII’s in the past. You use the XO-1 to balance the 2 amps and only use the bass output of the external boxes. The high pass section would have to be removed from the external box circuitry. Per the XO-1 instructions: Cut (or desolder) the wire which attached the large yellow capacitors to the plus (+) input terminal. If rrob doesn’t have the external boxes or XO-1, I can supply them to him, along with the original instruction on how to hook them up. I have gone active 2-way and it is far superior, but rrob can work with what he has for now.
