RE: new owner of MG-IIIas with questions

Yes of course that the problem, - should have realised that myself but I was a bit slow!. This speaker is not designed for passive biamping in stock form in this way (one amp to external crossover then to bass section, and the other amp directly into the internal crossover of the speakers). Thats of course why you are blowing fuses!! You need to modify the setup with the caps like Neolith describes if you want to run the speakers this way, but of course the real and best solution for you like I explained and we both agree is to go active which would improve the sound a lot whilst costing you pretty little.
