A TVC in a properly thought out, passive friendly system, will sound good with any speakers. But yes, I have used one with maggies with excellent results. You need to be asking questions like what is the input sens. and voltage gain of the Odyssey and what is the output of your source. I will say that they tend to work better with tube amps because the numbers are optimized, and of course tube amps typically have higher input impedances than SS.
