Can I connect the Sony D-33 Discman to my dac-amp? My dac has inputs for both optical and coaxial....Thanks in advance.

From a quick perusal of the manual, NO

There is no digital signal output to connect to a DAC
just a headphone and line output - both appear to be 3mm stereo jack ports.

Thanks very much... I guess that means I can run a cable from the headphone out of the Discman (1/8 inch termination) to the rca inputs of an amp, and use the
dac of the discman?

use the line out, output, same connection,
and you can remove the volume pot and headphone amp from the signal path-

your home page url in your profile leads to some really weird site which I'm fairly certain is not your intention.

I'll amend that.
