Hello,
Vibrations are a plague in audio even for wallplugs. I've to modify my in wall ac cabling and wonder if horizontal or vertical wallplates could do a difference in sound... Any thought?

I'm certain that the Oyaide recommended is excellent, though a bit pricey. I found a Chinese generic carbon fiber wall plate that I paid around $20 for last year. After having tried numerous others made of various materials, I found this one to be far and away the best. I have no idea if vertical or horizontal positioning can make a difference, but certainly plate materials do change the sound.

The often overlooked feature of the Oyaide is the decoupling of the outlet from the wall stud via the Au frame. That's where the real magic of the WPZ comes from - reducing vibrations transmitted to the outlet. The CF plate is icing on the cake.
