Are there any decent wall mounted speakers. This for a simple two channel system.

I use a pair as surrounds in the HT. Pics available in my gallery.

Dipole design with hinged bracket for flexible mounting. Needs sub below 80 hz.

Very cool for home theater!!! But for dedicated two channel would they be to close to the walls? Some people love pushing speakers into corners others use the rule of thirds. Myself I just think if you like were your speakers are then that's right for you.

I had a funny exchange with another inmate on that topic. This from Magnepan:

"The MC1 is designed to be placed next to a wall or cabinet. The boundary of a wall or cabinet is calculated in the MC1 design to achieve smooth frequency response to 80Hz. "

I use rule of thirds with full range stats for linear bass in the bottom octaves but these require augmentation in that range. Also, they can be mounted on side walls and swung out for playback as found on their website:
