Or if I had a family to feed through the coming years of stagflation.

Besides I'm used to reading the stories about 5 years economic plans, millions of tons of concrete & Steel production, new ships being built, new factories being opened and about the workers who exceed the productivity norms by 1000% to get a distinction, portrait in the Congress hall and a promise to get a car (when it becomes available).
Gambling and Casino business? Nah!

It's been what, 17 years since the last bust? We're due.

At least right now they are. Two hours from now, things could change.
So, recession is definitely coming.

I cannot see any way around a trump created recession.

All three segments of the economy will be spending less because of his chaotic, numbskull policies, so the result WILL BE RECESSION. No two ways about it.

The real question now is just how BAD will it get?
