Having fun is the whole idea. Though I will say, I'm much more a listen-for-a-long-time-and-gauge-your-overall-feel than an A/B kind of guy. Just me.

I'm not very good at A/B testing ...its too clinical. I prefer to listen for an extended period and see how I am affected emotionally. When I compare two pieces of gear I usually pick three or four album sides and listen to them in their entirety while evaluating one piece and then play them all again with the other. The one that takes me to another place wins.
