I've seen a lot of great shows over the years but that's the one that truly blew my mind. It was just before the release of "Shut Up n Play Your Guitar" and the concert was heavy on instrumentals and FZ solos. Until then I had a hard time getting into his records, couldn't get past the lyrics. After that show, having experienced the amazing musicianship of the whole group, I became a lifetime fan.

Saw him in St. Louis @ 1974 or 1975 during the Apostrophie (') tour. Lots of stuff from that record, Overnight Sensation and on and on. Easily the GREATEST show I've ever seen. The band he had then was absoultely amazing! God I miss him.
