look around for a used Wright WP100. Not eye candy, but the sound is ear candy

.... I totally agree! I had my share of phono stages, both SS and tube. Although I have not tried DHT yet, I will say George Wright's WPP100C with Tribute, Altec, or Lundahl SUT is a keeper for me.
