Sansui wound their own transformers, typically outstanding. Sansui sold off the winding business, and it is now Hashimoto.

I remember you, nice to seeya again. Yes, this is a nice project, haven't had a tube amp in many yrs. Had one of those ugly Heathkit salmon colored integrated tube amps w/matching tuner, but wish I still had them now.

  I've owned two of the AA-151s and also an AJ-32. I love tube gear, but I hated the sound of those particular amps. I wouldn't have either of these models again.
