I didn't consider that or take into account the age. But there are options should it not work out.
It sucks to get old. It really sucks to get old and bitter.

Yeah, the totally restored one on ebay, had new trans. in the ph. stage, so do-able maybe, but thinking an outboard one will suffice.

  You can probably use a new topology in place of the one it has, still in the original chassis. May need to do a bit of planning, but it should not be too difficult. I have done that in the past with good results.
