Use pine 2x4s cut to appropriate sizes for room. Rub all surfaces of 2x4s with (anti static) vegetable oil and tunnels using two 2x4s for sides and one 2x4 for the top. Suspend speaker cables inside the tunnel using thread and eye hooks screwed into underside of top 2x4s. Voila!

In a chat recently with John Curl (who knew Enid very well), he said Enid had the best ears of any person he ever met in pro or audiophile circles. And that her discoveries that seemed so goofy on the surface, were always clearly audible and improved the sound.

it's one thing to disbelieve her and others claims, it's quite another to construct and use some of the tweaks claiming a "noticeable improvement". Flashlights pointed at speakers in the dark, ugly speaker wire tunnels, whatever new ones some idiot will claim...

It's not up to manufacturers to have to prove anything. They don't even have to provide evidence. If anyone want to try to establish the truth of any claims you must hire an independent third party tester. That's the way it works in the real world, not whatever phony baloney planet you come from. The tunnels aren't even my product, zippy. Too many fumes at the lab?

that someone has tried this and heard an "improvement" in SQ ... Now, we just need to build different versions using different woods (true pine lumber is hard to find, most is fir) and different vegetable oils. I'm betting that black walnut rubbed with canola oil from northernmost Alberta is best ... Oh, one other consideration: are we talking rough sawn 2x4s or 2x4s that have been milled to 3.5 x 1.5 - makes a differece, you know ...
