... for very cheap at a flea market! There's 4 of them, they are almost 3,5 feet tall and 3 feet large, and 6,5inches deep. Thy are made of MDF and painted white and they weight a a ton.
I got the four of them + a very nice Phildesign hi-fi rack with glass shelves (about 1000$ just for the rack, new) for 100$ delivered to my door ^^
At first I was goin to sell everything, since money is sparse theses days, but I've decided I wanted to try the diffuser panels first. So they are now on each side of the speakers, stacked by two. That's the only place I can put them in my room...
Well, I don't know, I was expecting to be more wowed. It doesn't sound that good with the diffusers in place. maybe I need to add more absorption to balance things. Probably. I have two professional acousticians as friends and they both confirmed that the panels were very well made and should be super efficient so I don't see any other explanation, or maybe They just don't have such a positive effect were I put them.

That seems to be the consensus of acoustic treatment professionals.
If possible? Place at first reflection points.
You could also try the wall directly opposite the speakers.
Putting them 'where they fit'....is a crapshoot...
Too much is never enough

I know what you mean, but in my room (which is my living room!) there is absolutely no other location where it would fit. They are BIG. But, being on the front wall on the sides of the main speakers, considering the weird shape of my room (the speakers are on the long wall) doesn't seem like such a bad idea (see picture)
I think they probably overpower the room a little and I need some more absorption.(PS sorry for the mess on the picture, that was during installation ^^)
