Tweaker456, you need a week's vacation and have earned it.
I'm tired of getting alerts from numerous folks about your insistence of always being right. You may be. I don't know, but it get tiresome and irritates other posters.
I'm also not happy with this ongoing spat between you and Uncle Mike. In the future, when you return from vacation, I as both of you to ignore each other in the hope of returning the fourm to its normal mode.
Thanks.

Looks like Mikey doesn't like it. Tweaker666

That is what "Tweeker's" do - 24/7 - all day & all night.
When your audio-phile sensibilities leave you so open minded you refuse to even try a certain thing because you already know all about it it before even giving it a try.
It reminds me of so called "anti-fascists" who use violence to shut down speeches of speakers with opposing viewpoints.
So Ug, you've tried a large cap across the AC as a result of your open mindedness?? You've explained why caps for EMI go all the way up to 10uf.
