WA Quantum Chip for Metrum Hex DAC

I'm currently on a budget that won't allow me to treat the entire DAC with chips. So I was wondering which chips would be appropriate to use on just the Llundal 1527XL output transformers ?

Or would putting a few chips some place else in the DAC be a better place to put them ?

I've never seen one of those WA Quantum chips "in person". If you feel it, is there anything to it, other than a piece of paper with glue on the back side?
