I am thinking about using home plugs (i.e. ethernet over powerline) to provide high speed ethernet to places at home where wifi may not work too well (e.g. to AV amps and streamers in the living room, etc). However, I am concerned if having the high frequency RF traffic over the powerline would make the powerline noisy and worsen the overall audio system's sound.
Does anybody have any experience or comments on this?
Thanks.

Yeah, it is noise as far as the power supply is concerned. The power supply will handle it just like it does other noise.
