The crystals are just in touch with the foil shield (which is not grounded to anything). Live voltage is insulated from the crytals via a couple of layers of heatshrink.

Eduardoo - sorry to be off topic, but wonder if you have any experience with the new Acrolink 7N-P4030II and/or the Acoustic Revive Powermax 10000 ?
