Anti-static spray foam???
Follow Ups:
fluids are merely slightly conductive material. On a crystal it would tend to channel the EMI fields through the crystal. Use Downy fabric softener, since it also reduces static.

Sorry I can't be much more specific, the stuff I use I obtained from a local electronics supplier a few years ago (I think it was Radio Spares. I live in New Zealand so that probably doesn't help much.
However, The stuff is in a spray can, comes out initially in foam form which disperses as it dries. All it does is leave a dry (resistive)film on the surface it is applied to. There was an anti staic spray distributed by one of the audio companies, which I am sure does much the same thing, sadly its name escapes me at the moment.
Is that perhaps "Static-Guard", or maybe a foaming window cleaner?
Or is it something like a foaming insulation type product?
In any case I would assume it's not that expanding foam stuff from Home Dopey, since that sets quite hard and solid.
