I have been playing around with some crystals for a while now.
I have been using some topaz on power strips and some interconnects with good results.
I use pink tourmaline on 3 Filament transformers and a couple of Power transformers.
I use some quartz on a stepup transformer and an isolation transformer.
So it was just a matter of time before I tried the CBF from Alan Maher.
I recently got the Sig.CBF (2 weeks) and some bulk crystals.
The CBF is outstanding at the breaker box. The width, depth and layering of the soundstage has me shaking my head, very much more 3D. The placement of the instruments from left to right has taken on a great affect for a huge and enjoyable soundstage. My Speakers are 45" from the side walls and my soundstage can at time seem beyond the side walls with great placement inbetween.
That is the Biggest bang for the buck I have had in audio.
I have been slowly using some of the bulk amethyst crystals, I have a few separate power supplies that use 2 big Mercury Vapour Rectifier Tubes each. I have put an amethyst crystal on top of the hot anode top caps, 6 tubes, 6 amethyst crystals and I'm very happy with the results! :O)
Hats off to Alan for this great CBF tweak + others who post about their experiences with Crystals!
Have a Great Day!
Ken
