Speaker placement - thank you!!!

All, just wanted to thank everyone for the good advice. Instead of going crazy with room treatments and such I decided to spend this weekend really settling in and moving the speakers around in the room. I removed the spikes from the speakers then I moved the speakers, listened, moved, listened, moved, etc. I took notes. After many hours all I can say is WOW!!! I never thought it would make such a difference, when I found the spot everything came in, imaging, bass, balance ,etc. I could not believe it. This is the first time I seriously took time to reposition the speakers. Now I can hold-off on the room treatments for now since I am so happy with the improvements. THANK YOU everyone.
