Hi Bartc,
Fiberglass cloth sleeving is not conductive. The use is for the lead wires.
I use techflex to cover the ground THHN 12ga. wire. Although the fiberglass cloth sleeving can be used here also, but would be more expensive.

You are absolutely right, you wrote "fiberglass". Where I got carbon fiber out of that I cannot guess. Looked black and I thought I'd read CF. Maybe not enough coffee early in the AM?
Sorry for the confusion. Yes of course glass isn't conductive!
