The quantum symphony pro states a 2500 sqf treatment
The office clear qrt claims a 10000 sqf treatment
Pro sells for $599
Office clear for $319, shipped from here
Looks to be the made by the same Quantum company based in Santa Monica CA. Wouldn't the Office clear be better than the Pro and cheaper too?
Anyone with a office clear?

Different products, both sound different.
Office Clear seems to increase the highs, and the Quantum seems to slightly increase warmth.
As always, YMMV.
I totally disagree that the Pro adds warmth,,, at least mine hasn't for me in my system for the last 3 years. Mine caused so much listeners fatigue I had to place it at the opposite end of the house, as far aways from my system as possible. I didn't get rid of it as I did like what it was doing, but it was just too much of a good thing by adding so much clarity to my system especially in the highs that it made listening at high volumes impossible. I fact my system had been plagued til just recently when I finally found the taming agent to my listeners fatigue with Alan Maher's PE Series.
If there's 1 thing my system doesn't need is a stronger Quantum resonator. In fact I think a weaker quantum resonator placed in the right spots, that being inside the components themselves would be a better application than 1 resonator of home strength. At least that's what I'm finding out. :)
Cheers,
Robin
Darn,Even the instruction sheets are the same for the Office Clear and Pro.
Best of all. looks EXACTLY the same as the above, just different colour.
oh, btw the Office clear and the reviewed unit both has a adjustable knob!
"The knob that I mentioned at the top …. it allows you to dial the degree of sonic change that you like. I am not making this up. Believe me, I have no idea why the conditioning works. I do not know what specific electrical load the knob alters"

Quantum Bill care to comment??
Not owning one, I was told by some that the Quantum Symphony Pro runs off AC directly and injects some kind of frequency back into the AC.
So I found this picture off a 6moons review and and was wondering what's the big black box with a big [PHIHONG] sticker was...
So I googled PHIHONG and found that it was actually an AC to DC adaptor made by a company called PHIHONG...
Check
http://www.phihongusa.com/html/adapters.html
And on closer inspection of the picture, you can actually see the 2 metal prongs of the AC adaptor being taped on to power cable coming from the IEC socket of the QRT Symphony device...
I do not know whether ths accidental discovery is enlightening or not..., for me I will rather have an external wall wart option and then have the flexibility to use a better DC power supply instead of hiding the wall wart within it... First time I see a wall wart being used inside a component too making you think it's run on AC...geez, but it's actually DC.
Furthermore, if you look at the PCB board, it is essentially bare, save for 1 opamp or two and some secret coil thingy.

geezCheck the insides of the EarthSafe
245.95 quids for this shoddy piece of work???
handcut board, exposed copper wires, some crystal/rock wrapped around.
Boy, am I glad its the RR i bought.
<>
I've been told just the opposite. I was told the Quantum symphony product emmit a signal that effects surrounding electron flow which in turn effects components. There's no doubt in my mind the Symphony Pro and the RR-77 are 2 totally different units that accomplish different things. My Pro definitely clears up my video MUCH MORE so than my RR-77 which does little or nothing for my CRT. There's also no doubt in my mind taht an upgraded power supply strengthens my RR-77 even tho others disagree. I'm just happy to have the RR-77 within my system(but plugged into a nonaudio system) and the Symphony Pro with my home circuit system(actually at the breaker box). YMMV.
Cheers,
Robin

Same shitSymphony Standard: Ac adapter separate 5v dc1.5k sqf $300?
Symphony Pro: Ac dapter built in as per pic ?? dc pic 2.5k sqf $599?OfficeClear QRT: Ac adapter separate 5vdc + adjustable knob 10k sqf $319 shipped
$319 for 10,000 SqFeet??? even my neighbours will become happy and healthy, hardy ha ha
The coil thingey is a "Common Mode EMI Supression Inductors" made in china or taiwan I reckon, 7 bucks each!
The RR has an attenna.http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/acousticrevive/rr77.html
ABed the Office Clear and Pro (bud's set). NO DIFF. Should have bought the RR77 instead. :(

=> Opportunity costs of hiding a AC/DC adaptor inside = $299.Some audiophiles prefer audio devices with AC IEC outlet so that they can try their high-end power cord on them; I actually had a friend who bought a Quantum Symphony Pro so that he can use a better power cord, namely the Shunyata Python, on it. I wonder whether to tell him that it's actually powering a PHIHONG brand AC/DC power adaptor instead ;-)
Your dicovery: PRICELESS
Wasted me hard earned money. Dun work no shit. Video not improved, NO DIFF at all. Sound wise, WITH and WITHOUT the QRT= No Frigging Change
The Effect of the RR-77 was IMMEDIATE.
Bought the officeclear mainly for health. Guess if it works no shit for the video and sound, I get no benefits either, healthwise.
DAMN DAMN DAMN.
What we have here is the old audiohile chestnut, YMMV, in action.

Does anyone know what's inside a Acoustic Revive RR-77?
A 6moons review did show a picture of the inside.
Here's a link to it.
If you check the other side, there are components where the solder points on the PCB are, relatively substantial to the QRT's, in addition to that rectangular coil that I suppose radiate something..
Thanks Hotbird, I was debating about whether I should give the Quantum Symphony Pro a try although I actually have heard the RR-77 in action. Looking at both their insides suggests to me that I can't go wrong with the RR-77. Placement is however a problem as I have nothing higher than 4ft behind the speakers. As it stands now the only place I could put it would be on top of the CDP which occupies the top shelf of my rack. You have one right, would it screw up anything if placed on top of the CDP?
![]()
My bet if you place the rr-77 on top of the CDP, do use some isolation footers, like sorbotane. The transport when spinning discs may "shake" the rr-77, and the ripple wave of 7.83hz produced by the rr-77 may end up distorted.
hmm, I will be getting the rr soon. its light and can be pasted on the wall with some good 3m adhesive.
Perhaps like this?
Actually when I heard it, the guy placed it on top of the CDP (because there was no other place in the room he could put it) and I came to the conclusion it was effective because of that placement.
Correct me if I am wrong but 7.83Hz is electromagnetic and not a sound wave so in theory there should be no vibration?
As for sticking it onto something, I did not think of that, so yes I could stick it to side of my "taller than me" CD rack and it would be out of sight. Thanks for the suggestion.
My concern is that we spend much of our time trying to shield our equipment from electromagnetic fields, and here the RR-77 is sitting in amongst our equipment generating them. This cant be good for the actual signal, even though the RR-77 is supposed to work on the listener and not the equipment, it will still affect it and not in a good way.
I know that the RR-77 is not supposed to be plugged into the same circuit as the audio system, but what other steps can be taken not to let its EMF affect the system?
Please correct me if I am wrong but understanding is that the very high EMF in MHz rather than really low Hz are the ones that cause problems. I actually was not aware that the RR-77 had to be pluged into a non-audio circuit although I am not sure what would be able to sneak back into the audio circuit.
I have two RR-77s. Although I don't have to worry WAF as she forced me into a separate room long ago, I have one between my speakers at just under the 1.5 m height. I experimented with several heights there although only my amp is located there. I used one of these tinker toy like wine racks where you can raise it or lower it by removing portions. I found two inches lower than 1.5m sounded best.
The other unit is on my equipment rack and right at 1.5m. I use a cardboard tube that is about 3 inches wide and it is placed on top my dac. I needed all the outlets of my Acoustic Revive RTP-6 so I never tried the RR-77 plugged into anything other than the wall outlet near the shelves. The RTP is plugged into a dedicated outlet somewhat further away.
This RTP sounded best at this height. I tried it lower down on various components, where it did not perform as well.
I have not tried alternative ac power sources with the RR-77s, but the RIQ-5010s quartz discs do work well on the one over my equipment rack. They harmed the sound on that between my speakers.
If you believe what they say.
If they are indeed emitting RF, to make you feel better, it has to emit a wave 180 degrees out of phase for where you are sitting at the same strength. If it doesn't do this, you wind up with more RF instead of less.
If these units do emit RF based upon what is programmed into them, there is no guaranty the RF generated is the exact frequency of what is in your room.

www.blockemf.com also sells other products that "calm" the occupants of a room e.g EarthCalm also it seems based on the Schuman Resonance like the Acoustic Revive RR-77.
Tried the Earthcalm before, does nothing much for audio. But some have better luck with another brand called Earthsafe, check out Iso forum.
