I was removing some caps from the circuit boards of my McCormack Micro Phono Drive and pulled up a few traces. The traces are still intact, but two of the eyelets at the end of the trace stuck to the lead of the cap when I removed it. Another two eyelets came off on the underside, so there's nothing for the solder to flow to.
I've replaced components on circuit boards in other gear, even the notorious Dynaco PCB's and never had a problem before, but I certainly do now.
I did a search of this forum and read a few suggestions about using conductive pens, but I don't think they would solve my problem. The trace is good, except at the very end, and I didn't think the "pens" left something I could solder to.
Should I solder a wire onto the leg of the cap and parallel the trace? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

You may be able to fix the trace with this kit.
Typically you "scrape" the trace so you can solder to it and just leave the cap leads long and solder them onto the remaining trace. If it is really bad, hot melt glue a wire over the trace to link the cap to the next part.
