Couldn't be bothered otherwise.
Sensible amounts of NFB, and careful replacement, keeps me happy.
Waste of time, and money and a great way of damaging tube sockets.

My annual income would drop considerably if people stopped tube rolling! (from replacing sockets and other associated damage from putting the wrong tube into the wrong socket)

if your tube sockets are already worn out after only a few tube rollings, you bought rubbish.to preserve the original sockets 1:1 socket adaptors are available for testing/rolling.

I don't, and don't need to. Very happy with the state both power amps and pre-amp are in. Nothing to change.And, the sockets are just fine. Nice and tight.
