Anyone identify the actual manufacturer of the Marconi 845 graphite plate tubes. Mine say made in Canada on the bases but I know that is not the case. I'm sure these are rebranded for Marconi. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, those are GE tubes. Nice, a good choice. They don't command the higher prices of united or RCA but sound better than any new production tube, generally. Keep em, if they are working well for you.

Thanks Ed. I will keep the GE's. They came with the amp and sound amazing. I originally purchased it all for $100 about 5 years ago. Of course it looked nothing like it does now, when I got it. The only original remaining pieces are the 2 chassis, the 2.5v transformer and chokes on the PS chassis, and the sockets and 845's on the output chassis. It was a mono 2 chassis theater amp using the 845's in PP.
Can you upload any photos? It would help confirm the manufacturer.

Thanks so much for your help. Looks like they are GE 845's. How do they stack up against the big boys RCA's etc...? I do not have very much experience collecting 845's. I have hundreds of tubes and have built and own several triode and some vintage amps but this is the first ... and last... SE845 amp that I have done.
But why is this your last 845 amp? I like the sound of most 845s myself.
It's the last one I'll ever "BUILD". It took many years to complete and is the best sounding amp I have ever heard... hence, the last one. As a matter of fact I have named it FM FINAL the FM designation are the initials of myself and my friend who collaborated with me and did all of the circuit design.

Hope this helps
