This post was meant to help buyers and not stir up trouble. You may not believe this but others have gotten the point of the post. I have been selling tube to the exclusion of all else for the last 6 years and it disturbs me how many buyers are being taken to the cleaners by some retailers. It is unusual for certain sellers to have an inordinant amount of NOS in white box tubes. Look and you will see who I am talking about.

I disagree.

The intent may be perceived (regardless of your true intent) as a slap to other tube dealers...and that is exactly the way I see it.

I can see your point, and Jack Gs as well. I'm sure that a lot of both goes on, we just have to use our judgement. BTW, I wouldn't hold my breath for an apology from Jack G, he just loves to stir it up.

  The problem with Jack G is that he either believed he knew specifically which dealer(s) I was talking about or he has been buying NOS tubes in white boxes for years without complaint. My guess is that he is old and constipated.
