How are the Russian tubes identified, or described on ebay.. I'd like to try one.

Ask for the 5u4 black plates..ICI_electronics has them.They are like 2 for 12 dollars and thats cheap plus shipping.

  I can't find them =8^( ICI_electronics or ici_electronics doesn't come up on ebay seller search, and 5u4 nets lots of tubes, but none like you describe.
