Are the reason the 'Gon is in business. Unfortunately, what someone is charged for listing an item does not seem to matter to the buyer, at least not yet. I think, as has been mentioned before, that this will ultimately cause an increase in the price listed for 'Gon items. This will make other venues - HiFiHock, and the Asylum clasifieds more competitive - always a good thing.
Ethics are still important, and I see a downward trend in Audiogon'e ethics.
Seems that at least a few dealers who have sold on Audiogon are leaving, permanently. It's going to be hard for the 'Gon to get those dealers back - ironic that the nickname is the "Gon", some (at least) of their dealers are now Gone, gone, gon.
