try re-reading what you wrote, but pretend it was written by someone else. Try to see how it might hab]ve been "misread" by so many people.
That you udidn't intend the way it was perceived is fine, but you are not excluded from bearing some of the responsibility for how it was interpreted.

I believe that most listeners report that the 5's are more detailed ( brighter? ) and accurate than the 3A's, and that 5A's are more detailed than the 5's, so if you find that the 5's are too bright, whatever you do, don't upgrade to the 5A's. That said, I believe that even the 5A's are not typically described as bright or aggressive. However, the 5's will probably sound bright if you're comparing them to the 3A's. One thought comes to mind: did you check to see if the rear tweeter is on? It should be turned "off".
